You directions were spot on, it wasnt your fault we took the wrong turn most days haha!!. It was my lack of navigating skills I am told!! Phil constantly told me to just read your directions and nothing else! Probably would have got us there quickler had I not tried to combine my “map reading skills” with your directions and me gazing out the window when we drove past the turnoff……

What a beautiful place England is, Phil loved it and I loved loved loved it! We are defintely coming back. We have had our taster and next time we think we will just choose one area and stay there. So we will be in touch with again in the future.

I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our trip to England and Wales. The accommodations were wonderful. Each one was unique and perfect for the area. The only problem was that we needed much more time to explore . Next time we will have to plan on two or three nights at each stay. Our decision to stay in Port Isaac was a good one for us. Those accommodations were not as nice as what you would have chosen but it was a great location for seeing the village. Our trip went very smoothly and we enjoyed every aspect of it thanks to your great planning.

We have been home a month already and only now finding time to catch up on some overdue communications. We did enjoy our tour of England and Scotland and we were pleased that we had our accommodation pre-booked. We had enough trouble finding car parking let alone trying to find accommodation in unknown places. We found all the B&B accommodation of a good standard and all hosts were helpful about places to see and where to eat….
All the instructions you provided were useful as were the maps and guides. The Sat Nav in the car was invaluable for getting to the right place although we had a problem charging it for the first three days. The rental car company (Avis) waived the Sat Nav fee because of it. Our only delay was spending 7 hours on the ferry between Mull and Oban because of high winds preventing the ferry berthing at Oban. We were late getting to Edinburgh. Everything else went according to plan.

Although our trip does seem a bit in the past, the memories of it are, and will remain, treasures we will cherish the rest of our lives. Thank you for the outstanding job Real Britain Company did in planning our trip. I only wish we could have met you and Ian while we were there.

In Salisbury, we saw Henry the V, and it was the BEST Shakespeare we have ever seen, by far. I was able to recall fond memories of seeing a play at the Salisbury Playhouse over 20 years ago, and returning to the Cathedral was quite an emotional experience as I recalled attending a Christmas Eve service there as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Brecon Beacons area. We climbed Pyn y Fan and walked through the forests at Blaen y Glyn, which are absolutely beautiful, and unlike anything we have witnessed here in the US.

I honestly can’t think of much, if anything, that could have been done to make our stay any more delightful. I suppose it would have been a little more convenient to have the accommodations and contact information also listed on the itinerary, so that everything would be on one page as we were traveling, but please understand this is a very minor thing.

Thank you for helping us experience what the UK is all about! I have already mentioned you to others we know who are considering a trip to England. We had a wonderful time.

Had to write you about the spot on job you and Ian did for us. As Jayhawkers we didn’t know much about England/Ireland or even what we wanted to see.
You listened to us and did a great job planning our trip around England and then Ireland. We saw a couple of Americans that sure were not getting around as well as we were and they were wasting time and a lot of money going to places that were even closed on the days that they were there. No such missteps for us.
The reason for such success was your step by step detailed itinerary. Wow, what a blessing. We did have to get use to no building address numbers in Ireland, but we found everything that we wanted to see. You even got us in a great Atlantic Salmon lodge on the west coast of Ireland.

I wanted you to know we had a wonderful trip. The accomodations were all very attractive, great rooms and hospitality, and fine food.
We seemed to be a half day late on our site seeing ( Tuesday’s plan used on Wednesday, etc) . We could do the whole trip over this week and still have plenty of things to see!
My greatest discovery was that the British Post Codes can be put into the SATNAV resulting in very accurate directions! ( In the USA a zip code can cover 100 blocks in a city.)

As a whole the trip and all the information and details you sent us were top class. As for our B&B’s we loved them all…
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the information pack you sent us was superb. We loved the places you picked for us to stay as they were as we asked – out of the way and in the country. We would never have found them ourselves. The information re places to visit and having them marked on the map was very helpful.
We certainly travelled some very narrow back lanes though but that was part of the charm and we loved going through the villages. We are certainly looking forward to returning and seeing Scotland, Ireland and some of North England the next time we come over so will be in touch.

I know Carmie wrote you about what a wonderful trip we had in England, but I just had to write also. We had the most amazing time, and I loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for all of your suggestions of where to go and what to see. I describe the trip to my Friends as a combination of Camelot and Brigadoon, and the only way it could have been any better is if Fairies had flown out of the Rose bushes. And I swear that is how I feel about it. We have taken some wonderful trips, but this one was our absolute favorite. It only rained twice, and that was in the middle of the night both times. We were so lucky. The only thing I didn’t like was that we didn’t have more time to be there.
All of our B&B’s were stunning, and the Inn Keepers were such wonderful people. Please recommend them to your other clients. You cannot go wrong with any of them. Everyone was so friendly, and helpful. We were so in another world. I burst into tears twice while we were there , I was so moved.
Thank you again and again. We will definitely be back, sooner than later , I hope.

Firstly we had a lovely and memorable trip around the UK and the accommodation you chose for us at all our stops was very good. Each place had its own characters as our hosts and we really enjoyed interacting with the people at each of our temporary homes.
The service and hospitality of all our hosts was excellent but of course some places we enjoyed more than others mainly because of their locality…. Overall our trip was a very positive experience and we didnt have any major hiccups.We got lost several times but managed to get back on the right track with our gps and your information.We had trouble finding some of the guest houses but that was part of the Uk experience. Having a mobile phone also helped us in these situations…. Finally Kate thank you for all your advice ,maps, and accommodation choices. It was a real pleasure to have you as our tour adviser and planner.
