There is only one dangerous wild creature in Britain, a snake called an adder and even this is very shy and rarely seen. However, the hedgerows, river banks, woods and moorland all teem with different varieties of flora and fauna.
With so much coast there is a huge number of sea birds, plus songbirds and birds of prey, making these islands a delightful destination for bird watchers.
Watch out also for grey seals, whales and dolphins.
